WP GitHub Activity works in two ways. Via a sidebar widget or via shortcode tag.

The plugin uses the public GitHub API to connect to an account and retrieve it's latest activity, all without the need to use a GitHub API key.

Local caching is supported, to cut down on API requests and speed up widget loading.

Additionally various activity types can be filtered out when not important enough to print.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
